Organisational Structure of the Division
The Division is an autonomous body managed by an elected Board, comprising six general practitioner members who practice predominantly in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide and four lay (non-GP) members. These serving lay members have full voting rights. Of the four, one is a Stakeholder Representative, one is a Consumer Representative and the other two are drawn from the Associate Membership.
The Executive Committee comprises of the Chair and the Division Management Team. The Treasurer, together with the Division Management Team, makes up the Finance Committee. We are establishing an Audit Committee which met for the first time in February, 2009.
